Amanda Luker

Amanda Leigh Luker is an associate in the Alexander City office. A native of Coosa County, Alabama, Amanda graduated summa cum laude from Troy University in 2003 with a Bachelor of Science degree, and received her Juris Doctorate from the University of Alabama School of Law in 2010.

 

While in law school, Amanda gained practical legal experience by working in the University’s Capital Defense Law Clinic and the Mediation Law Clinic and by participating in one of the school’s numerous moot court teams. In addition to her various academic achievements, Amanda also received the Dean’s Community Service Award and Order of Samaritan Award for her volunteer work in the community.

 

Since joining the firm in 2010, Amanda has performed extensive work in the firm’s research department, including the Appellee’s Brief filed with the Georgia Court of Appeals in the Town of Woodland , et al. v. Holloway/Meadows (Case No. A11A1395 & A11A1397), as well as the Appellee’s Brief filed with the Alabama Supreme Court in Stallworth, et al. v. McDaniel (Case No. 1101018). In addition to her work in the research department, Amanda has also successfully represented individuals in their claims against multimillion dollar corporations. Her litigation practice primarily involves premises liability and wrongful death cases.
