Carter v Taurus Class Action Settlement

On July 22, 2016, a federal judge signed the final order in the Carter vs. Taurus lawsuit settlement. Taurus, a firearm manufacturer, agreed to recall nine handgun models with alleged defects. These alleged defects can cause inadvertent firing when dropped even with the safety on.
Todd Wheeles from Birmingham firm Morris Haynes along with Bailey & Glasser attorneys David Selby and John Barrett represented plaintiff Chris Carter in this class action case. They have worked to provide relief to Taurus customers and remove potentially defective weapons from the public.
