Miriam Lawson v. Glenwood Nursing Home, Hull Storey

Miriam Lawson v. Glenwood Nursing Home, Hull Storey

Our firm presently represents several individuals who were exposed to the legionella bacteria and contracted legionella pneumonia in September of 2013 while they were residents in a nursing home in Florence, Alabama or either visiting a relative in the nursing home. Plaintiff’s claimed the nursing home was negligent in not properly maintaining their hydrotherapy pool and water system and as a result legionella bacteria was allowed to grow. The case has settled for a confidential amount with the nursing home but is still pending against the owner of a cooling tower located on the roof of a nearby mall.
