Bio

Nancy Eady is a non-equity partner at Morris Haynes. She has been with the firm since 1991 and practices out of the Alexander City office. Ms. Eady heads the Legal Research Department of the firm, and she has successfully defended many of the verdicts and rulings obtained by the firm’s trial attorneys. She is an active member of the American Bar Association, the Alabama State Bar and serves on the Executive Committee of the Alabama Association for Justice. She was selected by B-Metro as a top attorney in Birmingham in 2016 and as a top women attorney in Birmingham in both 2015 and 2016. Since 2012, she has made numerous presentations for the National Business Institute on various topics, including hearsay evidence, motions in limine, ethics in social media and techniques for electronic searches. She has also spoken about legal writing issues to the Alabama Association for Justice, and at the 2015 “Attorney Technology Conference” CLE hosted jointly by Alabama Law Weekly and Tennessee Attorneys Memo.
